Sangjit

Last weekend,on 23rd November 2008, Niko and his sister came to my house to bring the Sangjit tray. I also didn't know what was inside. According the pic above, inside was :
1. Fruits
2. Clothes
3. Milk money
4. set of jewellery
5. Pork
6. Sweets
7. A pair of Liquors
8. A pair of Candles

Niko's Porridge

Last Friday night, Niko decided to cook porridge. And He put to much rice into the pan, so when I woke up for my morning walk on saturday, the porridge looked like a steam rice.

After adding more water, it's still thick, but can be eaten.

We bought yu tiaw and corriander leaves with spring onion. We ate with otak2 also.

Bus 175

When we wanted to go back from our morning walk at Alexandra road. We cacthed bus no.175. And the interior of the bus is like the pic below.



With F1 racing deco. It seems already off, cause F1 has past 2 months ago. But this decor for SBS bus is very2 unique...This is the 1st time I see.

New Hobby

I got new hobby since Niko was not around 2 weeks ago. Keep my nails long and paint them with different color every 3-4 days.

But my nails looks better with dark color.

Jian Bo Sui Kueh @Tiongbahru Market

When my friend stayed in my room last weekend,cause Niko wasn't here, I brought her to eat at Tiongbahru Market.

I introduced her to Sui Kueh...very nice.
I really like the brown topping.

Pork Ketchup at EastCoast Foodcourt

I went to East Coast Foodcourt last Friday at lunch time. This stall were recommended by my colleague. He knew I like pork alot.

The qeue was very long. I just sat, waited for the food to come...

When it came, my colleague said my face was very excited, seeing the food looked like.



It was delicious. They cooked it perfect.

Otak-otak

Niko has come back from Jakarta since had been there for 2 weeks. So he brought me otak2. It's different from Singapore one. It has white color not orange.

Taste very nice.



But he only brought 30 pieces...cause of the 2 wooden tables that his boss asked to bring offer to Singapore and our prewedding photo album.

What things to eat at Jakarta when you go back

I always miss these food when I'm not at Jakarta. Then when I come to Jakarta, I gain at least 2kg cause I eat alot. And here's the list :

1. Bakmi GajahMada (GM), Bakmi special GM, Ifumie, Siomay, Fried dumpling
The God of the noodle...


2. Bakso Akiau, Jl.Mangga Besar (I forget the number)
I always order 1 kwetiaw, slice beef meat and meatball.


3. Sotomie Roxy
The meat tastes like lamb, but it's beef and it's roasted.
Then the soup is sour cause of the lime. It's just perfect.

4. Bakso blok 1, Muara Karang

5. Nasi Padang, Sari Bundo
Different from nasi padang in Singapore.
Cause Nasi padang in Singapore came from Malaysia, not spicy.


6. Honeymoon Dessert, Mal Taman Angrrek Level 4
Strawberry pudding tofu...the best dessert I know.
Only can be found in Indonesia, Hongkong, and Malaysia (if I'm not wrong)

What things to buy at Jakarta when you go back

There are several things to buy at Jakarta when you go there :

1. Pepsodent herbalmint, tooth paste. Can't be found in Singapore.
I mind using Colgate and other brands. They are too watery.
But pepsodent herbal is really thick, really refreshing.

2. Lays, seaweed flavour and salmon teriyaki flavour.
Can not be found in Singapore. Die die have to eat.

3. Mentol Healing oil, with the green cap. Helps me from headache.

4. Tolak angin,sidomuncul. Prevent cold...but not healing. Can be found in Singapore.

5. Bubble gum, any brand.

6. Indomie, mie goreng special, kari ayam special.
There's no instant nooddle can beat how nice it is.

7. Blue band, margarine. Taste different from other margarine in Singapore.
Will cheer you up at morning, even with the plain bread. It's more salty.

8. I have no idea what should i buy more....

Holiday Plan in my dream

I want to go Hongkong since I heard my friend who had gone there, said that in HK is heaven for shoppers...and the foods are nice.

But I also want to go Japan to eat and to shop. Neverfull bag in Damier is only available in Japan. But I also saw there's another version in Damier azur...really rare.





I may need some time to save my money if I really want to enjoy my Japan or HK trip with unlimited shopping... :P

Since we want to buy a house, so Niko said we won't go for any holiday for the next mid 2009. So sad, isn't it? The only one trip that we will have is Jakarta trip for our wedding dinner and to Sukabumi-Bandung for visiting his relatives.

I also confuse about why we should go to Sukabumi. Anyway on the wedding dinner they will come to Jakarta, and again, we gonna meet one another.

About Tax and Fiscal Policy in Indonesia 2009

This is really confusing for all Indonesian who are working in Singapore. Cause few weeks ago there's a Tax seminar in Indonesian Embassy.

I read in yahoogroups : Indo-sing. This is hot topic that they have been discussing.

The rumors said that the fiscal policy will be increased on 2009. Damned!!! I will go back on december and will be back to Singapore again on January. That means I will kena by the fiscal, cause I don't have NPWP (Nomor Peserta Wajib Pajak). Fiscal for now is Rp. 1.000.000,-. It will be Rp.4.000.000,- by 2009.

Those who have NPWP, don't need to pay fiscal. But I don't want to have one cause I don't want to pay double tax.

Some of them said, we don't have to pay if we fill in the COR form (Certificate of Residency) to explain that we paid tax to Singapore gov. And the COR form will declare that our NPWP is NIL (0).

But once you have NPWP, it will be forever with you...

AFA 2008 @Suntec

I went with my housemate to AFA 2008 at Suntec. It's an anime festival. I got 2 free tickets from my company.

We reached there around 11.30am on saturday, 22nd November 2008. And my friend also brought another friend who likes anime also. We had our lunch at Fountain Terrace there. After that we went to Suntec level 4.

There was a lot of teenage, most of the visitors were youngsters. Some of them were wearing costume, but anyway I didn't know what character they we tried to copy.



I happened to take picture beside the original script of dragon ball, one of my collections.

I also took pictures of the showcases. Really interesting. they are very detail and cool.


I also took some pics of a girl that doing costplay wearing don't know what costume.
She is pretty that's why i took hers. Cause the rest are not.

Dried Roses

My flowers those had been given by my beloved husband are eaten by some kind of insect and covered by dust. So I bought a box to keep all those flower without the wrapping paper and those beautiful ribbon.



I want to keep these stink dried flower just to recall my memory about how we love each other and how romantic he has been.

My Balance

Last few months, I had been having uncontrolled expenses. I remember my self 4 years ago (2004-2005), that I always bring my small paper, wrote in my daily meal and my transport fare. By the end of the month I calculated everything and got my happiness number of the month.

I had been thinking about being back to the way I was living. The first step I did is buying a small notebook (have to be cheap also). Then since early of November, I has started my list of expenses.



My target for every month is not exceed 500$, but for November is exceptional. Few reasons are:
1. My PR was approved (pay $175)
2. My colleague's wedding lunch (give $100)
3. Niko is going back to Jkt, have to give my mother money.
4. My wedding gown rental fee (Niko borrowed my money $50)

Hope the number will be smaller next month.

The Birthday Present for The One

I'm not kind of person who can make surprise for the one I care. I always have to make sure that the thing i'll give is the one that the person wants.

So after offering few things to the beloved husband, he picked the cheapest thing I had offered to him...sigh...lucky me... :)

I went to Takashimaya, Orchard in the lunch time together with my colleague. I knew what i wanted to buy, so it took only about 10 minutes.



I saw he was happy when I gave him the present. But however, now the thing is laid on the table and had been covered by dust....he seems don't put attention on taking care the thing.

May be next year I should only buy him a tie...or give him only a whole night satisfaction.

Go to IKEA

This morning I still had headache..but however I planned to go IKEA to buy some shoeboxes, Plastic boxes to make my room neater.

I took bus 33 direct to IKEA, and put in everything I planned to buy in the trolley. Somehow, I saw a folding frame, can be useful for my Bali trip pics.



Total price that I had to pay is S60.00. And I didn't get any plastic bag.

I took 33 also to go back home. Actually I thought want to take taxi home, but I still could carry all the things. Very tiring...and I didn't think that plastic boxes are heavy.

My Wedding Dinner Gown

We rent the gown already...I feel like this gown is to much...cause we only want to have a simple dinner.

Morning Walk

Even i went sleep quite late around 00.30am and few time woke up around 3am,4am,5am...I still could make my morning walk.

I woke up cause my house mate knocked on my door and i had a cup of Myojo instant noodle first before we went out. Cause i'm starving. I didn't have my dinner last night. I think that's why i had headache this morning.

We started on 6.30am, and ended at 8am. And i had idea to go to IKEA since we were already in Alexandra Road. It is only 2 bus stop from HortPark. We were planning to have our breakfast there. Eventually when we reached IKEA, It's still closed.

So we decided to go back home.

SPORE from EA games

Niko gave me an interesting game to explore...It's one of the product from EA Games. I used to play The Sims from EA Games also during Uni time.

This new game is called SPORE...this is about the creature that will evolve from small creature like microbacteria till become monsters that conquer others creature at take over the area.

I've been playing it since early this week. It's fun. You can add some organs to your creature and gain some ability to make you easier beat other creatures.

Diet and run

Since I've been told that in our office's D&D party, we all have to wear costumes according to the theme is given...I doubt I'll attend.

I decided to attend, but my team will be wearing "Josie and the pussycats costume"...have you read Archie Digest or Betty and Veronica digest? Jossie and the pussycats are wearing the costume like swimwear.



I can not imagine...me in that costume...i never wear swimwear cause i can not swim.
So since I still have around 40 days to loose my weight, I've decided to go run everyday...and I don't take dinner...so suffering. It has started yesterday, 13th November 2008.

I also torture my self to achieve the proportional body shape cause of my wedding dinner in Jakarta on 3rd January 2009. I don't want to look like a fatso bride.

My Start

Actually my husband gave me a website under my name as 1st month wedding anniversary gift. Unfortunately i don't know how to use it...i think it's not user friendly...
On the other side, I also think we should have 1 blog to share about our daily marriage life. But that one can be later, since he is also busy. He just occasionally write, but i try to be consistence...
