Mother's Day Lunch Celebration, Modu

Marco prepared a lunch celebration for me. Marco said the food was very nice. We also got a free ice cream from Tofu & Love.

Birthday Month 2026

 I was on birthday leave and we had lunch at Collin's Serangoon Nex.

Marco ordered way way too much. He said he could finish all. Total bill was $70 for 2 of us.

My Mother’s 80th Birthday

I planned to go home initially, but because I didn’t have my passport with me so I couldn’t. I only got my passport on the 15th June. So I will go back on the 22nd June to see her. I only sent her a rose bouquet on her birthday. I don’t think anyone have given her a big flower bouquet before.

 

Meeting Up with School Friends, 10 March 2024

I like to meet my old friends. We are friends from more than 25 years ago. It is really good chat and I am glad to meet you both. I appreciate you both still remember me as one of your friends too.

Dessert Farewell Party for Roger, 12 March 2022

It was nice to meet Roger. However unfortunately he needed to move on. Felicia, Marina, Pohyan and I gathered together for his farewell. Wish your next journey is better and smoother.

My 40th Birthday, 26 February 2022

I went to clinic for pre-employment health check up at Raffles Place area. Then I straight away met Marco at CompassOne to have our lunch at Canton Paradise. Marco asked for Din Tai Fung, but I don't like to eat there.

Coming back home, I found a beautiful pink bouquet on our dining table. It was from Monique, my high school friend who lives in Australia. How thoughtful and lovely surprise.

Covid Vaccination 1st Dose at Punggol 21 Community Club

 I had my first dose on 17th July 2021 at Punggol 21 Community Club. I scheduled it to be at 3pm. I came 15 mins earlier and the venue seemed not so crowded.

In less than 15 mins, we were called inside to do registration and waiting for the jab. After the jab, we waited 30 mins until they called us to collect the vaccination card and free handsanitizer.

My arm was swollen, especially around the area of the jab took place. The swollen area lasted for 10 days.

Wiwik's Birthday, 12th July 2021

We celebrated Wiwik's birthday by eating lunch at home. 

My 39th Birthday, 2021

The global economy of the world generally is not good and my job is greatly affected. I know some people make more money during this pandemic. However in MICE industry, we feel the great impact of this situation.

I had a very simple day. No celebration. Just got cake, cut and ate it. My helper cooked birthday noodle. Simple like normal days.

Marco is very sweet boy. He prepared a present for me around 2-3 weeks before my birthday. He saved his pocket money to get me something at his school bookshop. He kept the items secret from me. 2 days before my birthday, he boxed it and wrapped it with paper and tied with a ribbon. Since he couldn't tie a ribbon, he came to me and asked me to tie the ribbon for my own present. LOL. He hid the present somewhere for me to find.

On my birthday, he was so happy therefore he told many people he met at school and when he was on the way home that his mummy had birthday today. When he reached home, he told me he bought another present for me. So I got 2 presents.  

I opened my presents. The box contained 2 purple pens and 1 mechanical pencil (I think I will give him back when he is ready to use the thin mechanical pencil). The other present is a modelling clay. LOL...Reminds me of how happy I was when I was lower primary to receive such gifts. He is a very sweet boy. I love him so much.

After cutting cake, I played modelling clay with MG. We worked together to build Baby Yoda. I did the head, body, scarf, hands and ears (basically almost everything). He helped me to cut the ears to be the same size, attached them to the head and the eyes.

Divina also gave me cheese cake from Twelve Cupcakes. It was nice. These 2 years have been though journey for me. For care and concerns, I thank you so much.

Christmas, 25th December 2020

I planned for hiking on Christmas day. It's to introduce MG to nature. He had not been here before. 

We woke up on 6am. Went out from home at 6.40am (which I think it was not bad to get ready in 40 mins). Brought our water and snacks.

He was excited at the beginning and once we reached Henderson Waves bridge, he complained a lot because he was tired.

We ended our journey at Hort Park and took bus to Clark Quay MRT. We dropped by to Kiddy Palace Punggol WaterWay Point first to buy MG's Christmas present. He wanted a Nerf Gun. 

We went home. First thing to do was wash hand and wash feet. Ate our lunch and shower. After shower, we took our Christmas pictures. 

It's time for MG to unbox his present.

We just dined at home. It's platter for MG. I don't like fried food. But we did this for MG. He said the dinner was nice.
