National Museum Visit

We visited the Singapore History. I think the NHB had done a very good job to hire US consultant to design the national museum. And after that we visited the Singapore Heritage Museum. There's another temporary exhibition at the basement. They showcased pictures and art pieces.

My new toy

Recently I bought a pocket digital camera. Canon IXUS 95IS. It's the cheapest in Canon. I avoid touch screen because it's too complicated. Actually I like IXUS 100IS, the features are the same as 95IS, but it's slimmer and 12Mpx. I need to pay $100 more to get 100IS. I think I still prefer 95IS since megapixel doesn't effect anything and the the 95IS came with some nice colors. Initially I wanted to buy pink, but all my friend said the pink one is not nice. So my second option is blue.

Vietnam Pho instant noodle

The real food doesn't look like it's cooked from instant noodle. And the taste, not bad. It's really better than korean instant noodle. He should bring back more or may be one big box because the taste is nice. :P

ASTON @The Cathay

Finally after almost 1 month from Niko's birthday, we celebrated his bday at ASTON @ The Cathay. Aston is "value for money" for the steak house category.

He is BACK!!!

INDOMIE KU

These are my favorite indomie.
I like the curry because the curry so strong without the coconut milk. And the fried noodle one is very special because you do not need to fry it..but it's fried noodle.

It's fantastic eating indomie with tauge, egg and tomatoes.

Shokudo@Bugis Junction

We didn't plan to have dinner at Bugis Junction. It happened because it was raining and we couldn't go home.

My omu rice with tonkatsu and curry was great!!!

The tomyam soup was great, except the size of the serving was terrible.
The mango salad, i still prefer the First Thai restaurant one.
The other food I can not remember the name.

Indomie Kari ayam

I've been eating indomie for quite sometimes because I'm lazy to go out to buy lunch or dinner.

So I prepare tomatoes, tauge, and sausages. I wish I knew that eating indomie with tomatoes is damn good.

I just finished the chicken intestine from my friend. It's nice also eating indomie with that.

Caesar salad @ coffeeclub (again)

I managed to find time having this caesar salad (again). This time was not complete because I enjoyed it alone. I would be much more nicer to enjoy it with friends or my husband.

My early birth Bday Gift for 2010 :)

Just for the beloved husband,

I only want one thing since 1 year ago. I keep thinking about it always, every second and every breath of my life, specially when I run to catch the bus below the sun, or smell the workers' body odor in MRT, or when I need to squeeze in order to get on the very packed MRT.

You must know what I meant. It's only one thing, and it's the only thing I want.

IKEA breakfast

I went to IKEA with my friend. She accompanied me to buy sport bra at queensway shopping center and to buy the cheap table lamp at IKEA.

So we went to IKEA first to have brunch. People was queuing to order food. When we were queuing we discussed what food we gonna order. We ordered Meatball (10 pieces), spaghetti, and salmon. The salmon was the best from what we saw. But end up tasted the worst.

Monster Inc

I'm now watching Monster Inc movie. I'm collecting the figurine also.
This is my 1st collections, I bought 3 weeks ago

The next week I bought others, Eeyore, Tiger, and ratattouile. I also bought mini hellokitty. I'm thinking want to buy Sylvanian Families collection. The simpsons also in my list. By the time my house is ready, I already have few things to display. :D

This cake has the paper at the bottom part. very disturbing. Inside has the cream filling.

Fish soup at Expo food court

The food court at expo had been revamped. The most interesting stall is the lao fu zhe char kwetiaw. I didn't buy because the queue was very long compare to other stall.

So I bought fish soup.

The fish was nice but the milk was not so thick.

Baked rice with fish @ Delifrance

Not as nice as Kim Gary's one or Swensen's one.

Caesar Salad @Coffee Club

I keep thinking about this since I ate this 1 week ago.
The salad basket is from cheese. They baked the cheese till it's crispy.

I also ordered choco cheese cake. It tasted weird.

Niko's early birth bday celebration

We celebrated Niko's bday suddenly after we knew that he would fly to Hanoi on his bday.

We queued for 15 minutes to get seats, and eventually we got the bar seats.

Niko ordered cold soba...not nice.

ASTON SPECIALITIES @SUNTEC

It had been many many months I did not have a chance to visit this restaurant.
I like it since the first time I tried it. I like the taste and how they serve it with the side dishes.

I always choose Medium Well. And I ordered the same thing. Prime Rib Eye. It's not so big. I can eat 2 portions though.

Butterflies Clocks

I like butterflies clock the most. It comes with a lot of colors including mirror.
It will be very nice if you combine it with wallpaper.

One thing I really don't like is the price. :D

Designer Chairs

I like designer chairs, how ever they are looked nice. The more you see the nicer they are.

They can make your interior looks nicer even you don't do much with your interior.

This kind of chair is suitable for corporate look, not for residential.

2. Ghost chair by Philip Stark


It comes with different colors. Nice for dining chairs. I like the black one most. The best is matched it with black chandelier.


3. Egg lounge chair - by Fritz Hansen

I'll buy some day for my own house. The best color for this design is light green and orange.

4. Ball chair - by Eero Aarnio

This chair is very retro and fun. I'm wondering whether it is hot when you sit inside.

5. Swan Chair
The best color for this design is white color.

Asian Delight @ Changi T1

I was hungry on that morning. After I checked in my luggage I went up to the food court. Initially I wanted to eat popeye's fried chicken but it's still closed.

Then I ordered from this stall : ASIA DELIGHTS. they sell noodle. I queued for more than 10 minutes at the cashier. I ordered Chicken noodle and teh-o-kosong, I paid for $7.50.

The first sip was really terrible. Then I bit the chicken, I could tell straight away that the chicken was not fresh. I could smell something on the chicken.

Eventually I didn't eat the noodle and everything. Not even 10%. I finished my drink and went inside the immigration.

Cantonbay @ Mega Mall, Pluit

I was treated by friend here. The pork ribs were good. The vege was good also. But the sotong wasn't as good as the other two. It cost around Rp.180.000,- (S$25 for 2 persons).

Goodwood durian mooncake

This autumn festival, I bought few boxes of moon cake to bring back home.

But this durian kind, is the best. It's like eating real durian. But unfortunately my durian moon cake was not so good as it should be, because Niko put it in the freezer. So it's hard as eating stone and my taste buds were numb, couldn't taste anything.

It supposed to put in the normal refridge, no need to put in the freezer, Mr.Smart!

Fish and Co, Paragon

We just celebrated our monthly wedding anniversary at Fish and Co, Paragon. I ordered Silver Cod fish with Miso sauce. This is better that the fried one that can cause sore throat immediately after you finish the food.

The vege was very2 hard to chew as if it's still raw.
