Our president, SBY, had asked every body to wear batik on 2nd of October 2009 to celebrate our winning against Malaysia.
Few months ago Malaysia claimed that Batik was originally from Malaysia. Actually it is from Indonesia. And they also claimed that a lot of "Asian" things come from their country.
So on that day, I was at Jakarta, seeing a lot of people wearing batik proudly. I wanted to wear also, but I don't have one. Next trip to Jakarta, I will buy one and buy for Niko also.
