Barclays @carreerexpo 2008

Fried Kwetiao at Central, Takashimaya

Hubby and I went to Orchard because I wanted to buy Mask at Lucky plaza.
Then he said want to eat KFC...crazy...evertime he wants to eat KFC...what's wrong with this guy?

It was a good idea that we decided to eat at CENTRAL, Takashimaya. It is a hongkong cafe.
Initially I just wanted to have drink or finger food but the photos looked very tempting. So I decided to have dinner also :P

I ordered Fried Kwetiao with Beef.

JEC 2008

I am also proud of this project. The organizers are from France, Paris. They didn't change anything of my proposal. On site, they built it with glossy laminate that made my structure more grand and luxury.

Spring @SIWW 2008

This was the first booth when I first join Kingsmen. It was a government tender. We won it. It was exactly the same like my 1st proposal there wasn't major changes.

Old town white coffee

We spared sometimes to try Oldtown white coffee which I wanted to try on my Kluang trip last february.

The toast was nicer...they used the brown toasts...and it's more crispy than the one at toastbox or kun kaya toast.

Then I brought 1 pack of white coffee for Niko.

My speedo rubbersandals

I had been looking for a sporty sandals those I can wear during rainy day and shower. I saw Nike's one...$60, already discounted price.

I finally found the ones those were cheaper but still comfortable to wear. At stadium, they were having discount. I bought 1 pair for $28.00. Lucky I didn't rush buying other wise I would have bought more expensive one.

Shopping trip to JB

Last weekend while Niko was working, I went to JB with my housemates.

We chose japanese restaurant over Secret Recipe. When we almost finished eating, we saw Kim Gary Restaurant just right infront of the japanese restaurant. We wished we saw Kim Gary...because the food in Japanese restaurant not so nice. At the end we spent RM23.00 each.

This was the only thing I bought when I went to JB...a pair of pink sandals.

I still put it inside the box cause I just bought a pair of shoes on last good friday.
It was a heavy rain after we finish our good friday mass at Sacret hearts. Then on that day I was wearing my velvet shoes...how unlucky I was. I ended up buying a new Charles and Keith.

Demam BlackBerry

And kalo kita ga ikutin pake BB atau ga makan yogurt termasuk ketinggalan zaman. Geli ga sih? Pertama kali dengernya, g geli banget.

That's the power of words...stronger than anything.

I Passed the BTT

Yeaaaaaaah.... I passed the test...the e-trial test was very helpful for the final test.

At the 1st e-trial, my score was 94%. And the second one was 90%. But i didn't want to underestimate the test.

A Bangla was sitting infront of me at the test. Then I could smelled the body odor. Some more behind me was the aircon. It blowed cold wind to my head.

I checked my answers again before i ended the test. Then when I pressed end button, the result popped out. I PASSED. Yippieee!!!

Okonomiyaki@Sumomo, Selegie road

After Sunday Easter service at Sts. Peter and Paul, Niko asked me to go to Sumomo Japanese Restaurant. They are specialize in Okonomiyaki and yakisoba.

It's to pricey for me because the one in Maxwell food center is only $4.50. Of course this one came with a lot of ingredients inside.

The chef cooked the orders in front of us. And it took a while only then we got our food in front of us.

Nasi Goreng Ayam Kunyit @Spize, Simpang Bedok

My colleague always talks about this food stall. He is a regular customer there. I knew it because when we reached the stall, from more than 10 meters, the waiter already smiled at him.

He recommended Nasi goreng ayam kunyit and nasi goreng kampung. I ordered the first one. It's nice. And in that stall they have mediterranian food, western food, malay food, indian food. I'm not sure about chinese food.

White Lotus Seed Paste Wife Cake from HK

My husband's colleague gave a box of wife cake from HK.

Rojak and Popiah @Maxwell foodcenter, Chinatown

I heard a lot about Maxwell food center. This was the second time I came to Maxwell food center.

I ordered rojak because I was thinking I didn't want to eat to much because recently I gained weight.

When the uncle was making rujak, the aunty was making popiah for other costumer. I saw the popiah looked nice. Then I also ordered it.

The popiah tasted better than the rojak. Tiongbahru market rojak is still better than this one. But for the popiah..this was the best I'd ever eaten. I think this is because the raddish and carrot they put in right after they boiled them.

East Coast run on 3rd April 2009

Niko asked me for few times already then I finally said I follow him going eastcoast for night run.

I ran alone then he was joining his running group.

I ran for 30-45 minutes then I walked toward to changi airport till I could see the airplane was near above my head. I walked alone for few kilometers...I quite surprised because I saw a lot of people was training at eastcoast above 10pm. I saw bicycle group over 20 persons, they all were riding racing bicycles with safety light.

I still remember that I started my run on 8.35pm. Then I walked 45minutes after. I came back to the starting point on 10.35pm. I had been waiting for him on the toilet bench for 45minutes .I could hold my thirst and went to the food court few hundred meters form there. Then at the foodcourt I continued waiting for another 1 hour. He finished his run on 12 something.

We had our supper. Crispy pork wanton noodle. His running friend said it is highly recommended.

Supplier Gathering @office

1st of April was the supplier gathering night. The invitation had been sent out since 1 month before but I totally forgot about it. Luckily I still dressed nice.

The dinner was about appreciation from Kingsmen to all suppliers.

The food was good...got laksa, satay, butter prawn and other nice foods.

There was a free flow wine also at the beginning.

Fish and Chip at Swensen

FJ Benjamin sale at Hyatt,Orchard

I was planning to go there since thrusday. But I only can go on Saturday. Suddenly Niko went there with his friends on Friday...Finally he went for 2 times because he had to accompany me.

Morning we woke up and had Sui Kueh breakfast at TBmarket and finally missed the bus.

When we reached there, the queue started from level 2. After we got our turn to go up to level 3, there was another queue before entering the room.

My purpose going there was to buy guess clothes and shoes. But end up without any guess clothes in our plastic bag. After spending around 1 hours selecting guess tops then I found out those clothes have to be dry clean washed. I won't buy any clothes those need such a troublesome handling. So I put back all guess clothes those were in my plastic bag.

We queued for 1 hour to reach the cashier.

We bought 7 pieces (for me, Niko's mom, Niko's sista, and Niko's lovely teacher) of GAP shirt @$8/pieces which is very cheap. 1 Raoul's top, 1 Raoul's shirt for Niko and 1 Raoul's dress are $120. The dress it self was $229 on normal price.

My friend bought a Nautica watch for $170. Its normal price was $309.

We took bus to go Orchard Plaza cause it was very hot. We ate Ken Ramen...I ordered Miso ramen. The rest ordered Char Siew Ramen. Niko topped up his ramen $2 for a bigger portion.

Then we walked to Takashimaya. I had been thinking to buy moleskin. But after I considered to save more money because we just spent a lot for the clothes, finally I decided to downgrade for monologue and take the pink one. Paid by Taka voucher given by Adeline,Benny and Ronald on my birthday last 2 months.

Actually is not too far different between moleskin and monologue. It's like buying a clothes from Guess and a clothes from Zara. "Brand" makes a lot of different in price. But actually the quality is not far different. Niko always disagree if I buy branded stuffs. He always says that no need to wear or buy branded things. But he still buy moleskin over monologue. :( sigh...
I still prefer monologue for the normal ruled notebook or plain notebook. But if I go for the water color notebook or sketch book then I will have no choice, only moleskin have it.

What a bad week...30th March-3rd April 2009

Start a new week with a lack of sleep on Monday...do you know why? My lovely husband was snoring all night then I couldn't sleep. I slapped him few times because I was angry.

The following days I had not enough sleep. I felt like want to angry and always in a badmood. But nowadays I realized if i am angry or pissed off by something, I only tell once and keep quite. Last time I was scolding people and keep on grumbling about it.

At office , I supposed to do a good budget promising booth...but end up with 25K budget for 16m x 6m. I did it for 3 times and till now I still doing the changes.

Thrusday, I sent some money for my aunty and my mother...end up with my mother scolded me because she asked for more money.

Friday began with a nightmare on the previous night. I dreamed about going road trip with more than 10 friends. And I was the one who was driving. I saw accident after U-turning on the up-slope. The accident caused a cute dog killed.

On the last working day in this week I'm still doing the same booth.

What a greaaaaaaaattt week...hope I can get a nice weekend.
