Biscuits from Philiphines

My Phillipine's colleauge brought various snacks from his home town. I was interested to try the weirdo taste biscuits. They have tuna sandwich biscuit. The chocolate one tasted normal.

The pasta shop@Tiongbahru Plaza

I went to Pasta shop by Sakae at Tiongbahru Plaza. I still remember that the food was not fantastic, but Niko always asks me to eat there.

And yes, the food is not as nice as it should be with that price. One plate is about $14-16.



I ordered cream sauce pasta with bacon and mushroom. The sauce was a bit powdery. My rating for this food is 6 from 10.

Eventually I got $5 voucher after we made our payment.

Meet Friends

On Friday, I met my high school friends. I was sick on that day, but I forced my self to go and meet them. When I met them, I wanted to vomit few times. I had nausea.

Of course I'm waiting for my husband to come back here. There's another thing he has to bring here for his lovely wife who likes to eat Bakmi GM...hehehe

Chicken Cutlet Rice from Western food stall @Tiongbahru Market

This is my husband's favorite. It is also my favorite since I realized how nice it is.
Every menu from this stall is my favorite except the chicken chop.
The lambchop, the cheese fries, and the grilled fish are good with an affordable price.

Crunchy out side after that you taste melted white chocolate inside. Best! My colleague brought it back from Germany. Another thing she brought back was wafer coated with milk cream and chocolate...yummy!

I had to force my husband to accompany me to the newest shopping mall in Tampines...Tampines1.
Nothing special except UNIQLO, it's Japanese clothes brand.
I wasn't enjoying my shopping time with my husband cause he was disturbed by his boss for few times.
The shopping mall was too cold...It was really cold...on the other hand, out side was really hot.

We decided to have our lunch at Kimgary. I always like his mushroom rice. But this time I ordered different thing.
I preferred to have something else.
Cheese rice with chicken, it came one package with the cream soup.

Lao Beijing @ Tiongbahru Plaza

I like the pork meat with the tofu skin. It's like eating duck skin but this one with tofu skin and pork with sliced onion. I like these food but pricey. I didn't feel full and the bill was $45 something for 4 dishes. And one of those was salted cucumber only.

I went Tax Free 2009 on the first day...so I went home in an empty hand. Then other colleagues went on the last day. They brought back a lot of chocolate. A lot!
I was on leave that day...sigh...
Listy gave me one piece on next day :)

Fish Soup @coffeeshop near my office

I used to have this everyday before I changed my menu to fishball beehoon.
It is a bit fishy because it is fish soup :P
and the salted vege is just nice with the fish soup or with the bakut teh.
Cost : $3.50
Sometime if you wear pretty and smile to the uncle, then he will give you extra egg or tofu for free.

Hmm...not as special as what I had in Bugis last week. It was cheaper but I was disappointed for the quality. Better if next time I go to Bugis one.

A lovely dinner by my husband

I was so curious that he went back early and prepared dinner for us. There wasn't any event to celebrate on last friday.

He went to NTUC to buy 2 pieces of fish meat. He served them with pasta.


After we were full...then here came the bad news...He had to fly to Jakarta again on Sunday for a whole week...
Great!!! Sigh...now I know what was the purpose of the dinner.

ASTON @The Cathay

After waiting for more than 3 weeks, finally we had a chance to try ASTON. We went movie this morning with my friend. He likes startrek and starwars a lot.

Actually we wanted to watched saturday night but one of us didn't want because it was too late.

The movie was good...really good. Even I didn't understand what happened, but overall was good.

After that we walked to The cathay, next building to queue in front of ASTON steak house for 30 minutes. We waited another 30 minutes for the steaks to come. It took 15 minutes to finish our dishes.

Shokudo @ Bugis Junction

After long time knowing this restaurant, that day I had chance to try it with my husband.
I ordered Chicken Cutlet Spaghetti. He ordered Shitake Mushroom Spaghetti.

After the foods came. He felt like to eat my food, because my one is creme sauce. Finally we changed food. I ate his one. Nice...after that I keep thinking about shitake spaghetti.

Ojolali@Lucky Plaza

I went with my colleague after work on Friday to Orchard. We ate Ayam bakar Ojolali @Lucky Plaza. The chicken was consider small in Singapore. I liked it, specially the chilli. They have 2 kind of chilli. One is the red one with blacan and the other one is with sliced onion with soy sauce.

I ate the chicken with lot of chilli...delicious.

Bodyshop Sale @Compasspoint

I went to friend's house at Sengkang...First we had our lunch at Ajisen Ramen dining. I always eat the same menu...Ton toro ramen with white fish side dish.


Then after that I bought some bodyshop stuffs like bodybutter, facemask, 2 bottles of perfume.
Normal price for bodybutter is $29.90; Face mask is $19.90; perfume is $19.90. I bought the bodybutter for $16.90; face mask for $15.00; and each bottle of perfume for $12.90.

When I went to Bugis on the evening, I checked on Bodyshop store. The price for those item were still in normal price.

My Singapore Driving License

On Thursday I got my driving license by mail.

I am a Desperate Careerwife, I really am

I meet my husband only 2-3 hours a day. He goes home already 10+, on 12 we already have to sleep. 2 hours are including he takes shower and browses internet, sends email to his boss, makes cocktail drink for him self.

I can not imagine if I have baby, I would have kill my self.

Some more since 1 month ago, he also works on weekend. non stop. I hope we can afford buy a house and a car soon. If still can not, he better moves on to other job.

My sacrifies as wife has to have something as a return.

Our Short trip to Sukabumi

31st April, my mother inlaw called few times and talk with her son. We had to go back to Sukabumi, to visit Niko's grandfather. He is 95 years old.

When we reached there, nobody was in the house. Then we went to the hospital, he was there. The arms are swollen.


At dinner time, we ate chicken porridge. The way they served the porridge was like eating chicken rice. The chicken was served on different plate with cucumber. And the porridge was served with crispy dumpling skin. Total was Rp.50.000,-

Then when we were searching for hotel, the nice one was already full. And we went to the other one.
The standard room was terrible. And the best they had was not so good also. But this one at least the bathroom was clean.

Niko also took a room for driver and his son.

After went back from hospital, my mother in law took shower first. Then I was looking for the aircon remote...I could found it. Then the indoor unit also I didn't see one. Finally I just realize that room was not equipped with aircon...sigh

Some more our neighbor was really hyper active. Untill 12am to 2am still chatted and laughing very loud. I couldn't sleep. I was very2 angry.

Morning I woke up blur blur with yesterday headache also. I was planning to shout loudly, to revenge yesterday one. Because when they were still chatting till 2am, they must be sleeping on the next morning. But I was to dizzy to disturb people.

14th Month Anniversary

It was a surprise that I found something when I woke up on 1st May 2009.
I was very happy...Happy Anniversary...love you!

Lost and Found

I finally brought my bags to Singapore. I still left few bags in Jakarta. Once we buy our own house, it will become easier to store bags in house.

Garlic Mushroom Steak@Spize, Simpang Bedok

That day I wanted to have dinner with Niko at Aston. Then my colleague asked me to have dinner together. So I decided to cancel dinner with Niko because he was also not sure when he could left office.

At spize, I ordered Garlic Mushroom Beef Steak...I was satisfied with the taste and specially the price. It was $14.90.
