Saturday 25th April and Sunday 26th April 2015

Niko had a moist cooking class in the morning on saturday. We all stayed home on Saturday morning till afternoon.

Every time Marco went out from our house, he always stand still in front of our neighbour house. He said "Duck duck", pointing at the animals they have.



My mother supposed to reach SG around 4.30pm but the flight got delayed for 2 hours. She arrived on 6.30pm. We reached earlier. Marco had good time walking freely in changi airport. He also ate Mc.D ice cream Niko bought for him with FOC purple balloon. He walked happily with the balloon.



I had been busy since morning till night with Marco.

I fed him banana for breakfast in the morning on 7.30am, we planned to go to swimming pool on 8am. But it was raining on 7-8am. After 8.30 the rain stopped. So we reached swimming pool around 8.30am.

He seemed to scare of water but he just needed time to get use to be in water.



After going home, he straight away slept as he was too tired, so we were.

I took my turn to nap after lunch as my energy running low in the afternoon.

Evening time, we went to library, he was so active walk here and there. He also fell down from the bench while he tried to climb up.



Going home from the library, my energy again ran at the low level. I am so tired today.

Fish Soup at Jalan Besar Food Court

Today's lunch Roger Ong asked me to go farewell lunch with him. He said we were going to eat Fish soup. The moment we arrived, the queue was already quite long. But he said no need to worry as the q was moving faster.

The fish soup was fantastic. We chose big bowl, cost for $7.50 each. The fish was a lot. It was combination between fried fish and sliced fish. The soup was really rich. I tasted that the sliced fish was really fresh. It was chewy with no fishy smell.

Black Sesame and Almond Dessert

I met Jessika Sari at Chinatown as her father was just finished lung operation. The operation was successful.

We ate dessert only as I don't eat dinner now.



Then we went for lingerie shopping at CK department store. I got 6 bras and 3 panties for $33.90. :) Really cheap, right?

Menya Musashi at Bugis Junction Basement 1

I had been craving for ramen since more than 2 weeks ago. I finally decided to give my self a treat during lunch time. I went with Fan Hang as she needed to get something for her relative.

So instead of going to bugis plus, we went to Menya musashi as it is nearer. They have lunch set menu cost for $11. Quite affordable for lunch budget. We got ramen with 1 slice of chasiu and side dish.

Total bill was $14 perperson. She actually wanted to treat me but I refused as I know she is single mother struggling financially. I appreciate her invitation though.

Durian Pia from Vietnam

Arnest went to Vietnam over the weekend. He brought back a pack of durian pia. It was tasty because it had egg yolk in the middle of the pia. Next time I will try to find in golden mile supermarket.

I miss My Little Baby Marco

Marco is now a toddler. He is a big boy. Walk here and there. He has aspiration. I can not force something to him as he will be angry at me.

I miss my little baby M who can not do anything, who is just sleep and I can kiss him again and again until I satisfy.

Tea Leaves Rice from Inle, Peninsula Plaza

Yesterday lunch time, our Indonesian lunch group went to Peninsula Plaza. We went to one of the nicest Myanmarnese restaurant there. The tea leaves rice was nice. Tasty. My maid actually can make it at home as long as I provide the ingredients.

Choya Original

I was rushing from office to Rivervale Mall. I was thinking to open an account at UOB there. When I arrived, the bank was closed already. I just went to Daisho and NTUC, wasted my money bought unnecessary things.

In fact, finally I decided to buy CHOYA, plum wine. It tastes funny. I still prefer sweet wine. What I like is the glass bottle. I don't need to buy one for my lemon infused water.

Niko's Soft Milk Bread

This was a first time successful try. The bread was soft, puffy, and sweet. I like when it was just went out from the oven. Crispy out side soft and warm inside.

Evening Walk 16th April 2015

My evening walk on 16th April was really good. I put Marco down to let him feel different texture with his feet. He felt rough texture, different from our house floor.

Swee Heng Chocolate Steam Cake

I tried one of their steam cake. Each day the flavour available is different. That day chocolate was available.

The texture of the steam cake was very soft. Inside, there was a kind of chocolate filling. It is more pricey than normal bread ($1.50). Steam cake cost me $1.80 for 1 and it is smaller than bread.

Cheese Ramen Instant Noodle from Korean Supermarket

I found this and I tot I give it a try. It was creamy. I even added cheese singles in to it. The cheese melted.

Sengkang HDB

During my evening walk with Marco, I encountered a nice view of HDB. I took the view by my xiaomi Note.

Groceries Shopping with Marco

He always go with us to GIANT. He will sit on the shopping trolley.

Marco Likes to Read Books

Marco started to understand what we are saying. He understands when we say put back and close the drawer. He will put back and close the drawer.

He also understand when we say go to your room and sleep. He will walk to his room. He is very easy to put down to sleep. No need to do anything. Just put him on the cot, give pacifier inside the cot then pretend to sleep. He will sleep not long after that.

Marco Admitted to Hospital 9-11 Jan 2015

Marco was admitted to hospital after hi-fever for weeks. In fact he got urinal infection.

The Sleeper and The Spindle

This book is by Nail Gaiman, one of Niko's favorite author.

The story began with a queen who has 3 dwarfs as her servants. They went to save a princess who has been cursed. The princess had been sleeping around 80 years with an old witch guarding her. No one had been able to go through the castle.

The queen and the dwarfs in fact managed to reach the castle and met the old witch. The queen kissed the princess and she woke up.

The reality twisted here where in fact the old lady was actually the princess whom the witch had stole her sleep. The young lady was the witch who became young because she absorbed the sleep of people including the princess'.



The story ended when the princess stabbed the spindle into the witch's heart.

Marco 13th Months

Since I bought the "see baby" compact stroller, Marco and I have our time together for evening walk. Some times we have a morning walk and evening walk, depends on my mood and the weather.

He likes to watch birds, pigeons or mynas, cats or dogs.



After his 1 year old birthday, he is more talkative and he walks more. He already point things he wants or he is excited about. Got a day when we went to library, he approaches an older boy and he pointed at the boy's head. His index finger almost touched the boys head. I think he was so excited about the boy.

He also already understands when we said put back or close the drawer. He becomes sweeter as he comes and hug me.

He was so tired today that he approached Niko and pretend to sleep on his chest. When we said Marco is time to sleep, he walked to his room and approached his crib. He tried to climb up to his crib. I just surprised he began to understand things we said.

I began to feel my love to Marco is getting stronger. I didn't feel so when he was born. I was like normal to him. When he was 4-10 months I felt so irritated if he did something that made me tired. I just feel different recently, may be because he can react to me. He can out of nowhere, hug me and laid his head on my chest. He sometimes giggles at me and tries to pick my nose. When I come home from work, he will approach the gate, point at me, and smile widely.

My 2009 Bday

We celebrated it at Xin Yuan Ji, Bugis. Niko gave me my first LV bag. Damier Saleye.
