Keisuke Tonkatsu King Four Season - Bugis Village

Normally after my yoga class, we don't go anywhere to have dinner. But somehow, I really want to eat ramen. So we went to bugis village to give Keisuke Four Season a try.

I chose the Autumn one with bonito flavor and mushroom.

Niko chose the King with thin slices of pork instead of thicker slice.

Tosowoong Facial Brush

I accidentally found this product on Qoo10 website. I decided to buy it because I had been wanting Clarisonic. Clarisonic is $200 plus in sephora while this Tosowoong is only $38. It's still not so bad I think because it's made in Korea. I bought it online and got it delivered to office.





After trying, I think it's good enough for the price and I can feel my face skin is cleaner than just washing with hand and soap.

X'mas Gift from Niko

I got a x'mas gift from Niko. He gave me a high quality creme for my expanding tummy.

The best thing for that day was....I never prepared a thing for him. :(

Artichoke alla Romano

Reminiscing our dinner in Rome last February. Niko decided to try on cooking artichoke. The result was good. Considered not a fail.

Tim Ho Wan, Plaza Singapura

I was wondering why people want to queue that long for Tim Ho Wan? After so long it was my turn to queue almost 1 hour (50 minutes to be precise). What is it so special about this restaurant? It's answered this time.

Reaching closer to the end of the queuing line, we were given a menu. I was so surprise they only have few selections. We don't even can select what tea we want. They only have chinese tea, that's it.

Finally, we ordered these as seen from the photos below.



Let me start with their signature dish, the BBQ pork bun. I must admit, they have unique bun. It's like a combination between rotiboy bun and the normal chasiu pao.

The chicken feet was nice. No smell and so tender.

The lo mai kai was ok. It's too big for alone. Sharing for 3 person would be nice.

The teowchew dumpling was no my taste. The skin was so thick.

The har gao was ok. The prawn was not so crunchy. I have eaten a much nicer version of har gao compared to THW's.

The siu may was a bit smelly. This was the worst dish we ordered this afternoon.

The bean curd prawn roll was good but where's the mayonnaise?

The osmanthus jelly was good and so refreshing after eating greasy food.

I think their special fermented bean chili sauce helps a lot in enhancing the taste of the food.

What I regret not to ordered is the carrot cake. How can I forget to order my favorite dish? :(

I ended up take away 2 set of buns and a egg steam cake for Niko.

Breast Pump

I wanted to buy Medela Swing breast pump after asking so many mummies. The price for Medela Swing is $299 (on sale already). We sourced from Amazon website it is US$150 but we need to buy plug converter and there's no warranty for US version. I am also not very sure on the voltage also.



This afternoon I went to Vivocity to see things. Even though I get easily tired but it has been so long since I really walk around shopping center. We then again went to Mothercare shop at Harbourfront. I saw Avent single breast pump promotion for $229. We actually get free gifts like the 10 cups of milk storage container and breast pad, nipple cream, pouch, 2 milk bottle (1 small and 1 medium), and a pair of nipple protector. It's really a good deal. So I bought it.

Pregnancy Week 27

I realized recently since week 26, my baby became more active. His kicks are more vigorous than few weeks back. My tummy sometimes has a bump in certain area because of his position. I recorded a video showing his movement inside my tummy.

Our last visit to the doctor, he said my baby is too big for his gestational age.


I need to cut down my sugar intake as I will have blood test on 6th Jan 2014.

I don't have back pain since I joined yoga and Niko massages me regulary. As I remember I had it on my 4th month as my tummy getting bigger. I feel yoga is very useful because they teach us how to do stretching. After yoga class I feel refresh and my spine and upper body are relax.

Another Dream Recently

I dream few weeks back about my baby. He was still born. He was so little and hard like plastic. I was so sad.

Then in my dream Niko took me to some clinic to take out my placenta and others left in my uterus.

It was totally a nightmare.

Niko's MBA Gathering

Last weekend we had gathering in our house. Niko prepared the beef braised in onion cooked for 3 hours, pork braised in milk, tomato pasta, and spinach soup. Teo Leng and fam ordered Pizza Hut to be delivered to our house. Dora and hubby brought home made brownies. Mol and Jeff brought ice cream and korean strawberry.

It was just a while because around 2.30pm they all left our house.

We took a rest a while and after that went to Vivo City to visit mothercare shop. End up Niko bought a set of 5 bodysuits for our baby.

Pregnancy Week 25

I forgot to write on my 24th week.

I actually had a dream about the baby again for the 3rd time. My dream was so vivid one. I bathed him on our master bathroom with my Myanmarnese maid.

Last week and this week I have not been waking up in the middle of the night to go toilet. I don't know why but I only wake up on 6am or 7am. But after that I still sleep for a while only.

The tummy is getting bigger but somehow few times taking bus, people just pretend to have the rights more than me on the priority seats.

I realized I get irritated by people easily recently. I don't know why may be it's hormones.
