Korean Stall @ Kopitiam, Rochor road, Bugis

I wanted to eat the double bowl steam rice at Kopitiam Bugis, just opposite Fu Lou Shou. The stall was closed. I was thinking to eat anything but song fa bakuteh.

I ordered this saba fish and pepper chicken for $6.20. It's consider expensive, I just want to try once. The chicken is nicer than the saba fish.

Ng Ah Sio Bakut Teh, Rangoon Road

This is the best bakuteh ever...the pepper is really strong.

I prefer this one rather than the one in Balestier (Founder Bakuteh).
It's just that the service here...really2 bad.

My NHB bus

After doing it for few months, finally this project is completed.

This bus is actually a project from National Heritage Board to educate Singaporean about their local heritage. The content of the bus are food heritage, spices and herbs heritage, local traditional games, and the traditional wedding of 4 races in Singapore (Eurasian, Indian, Malay, and Chinese).

I didn't plan to buy this, but looking at the flavor, I was tempted.

Apologize gift

I'd been calling for more than 20times. My calls had been rejected for more than 10 times.

I deserved apologize gift for not being on time.

I still don't understand..how come i still wear XS size?!?!?

Black Chicken Soup @ Jalan Berseh food center

I paid $4.50. The soup it self is $4. I paid another $0.50 for the yam rice which is not nice.

Swee Choon Dim Sum @ Jalan Besar

Monday morning, hari raya, we went to dim sum eating place at Jl.Besar, just opposite Jalan Berseh food center.

Overall the food was good. We paid $16.00 for 1 siew mai (2pieces), 1 hakao (2pieces), Chee chong fen, 1 lo mai kai, 1 longan pudding, 1 hongkong dumpling, 2 char siew pao, 1 chicken with tofu skin.

We may want to come back next time to have breakfast at this place.

FISH SOUP @ Kopitiam, Compasspoint

After we went to the house and saw what we need to see, we had lunch at Kopitiam, Compasspoint.

The stall has a lot of poster. And they put queue line in front of it. Niko said it must be good then.

I stated to queue and I ordered no.3 Fish soup with beehoon for $4. I told the auntie that I wanted beehoon not the thick beehoon. I got the thick one. Sigh!!! Finally I didn't eat the thick beehoon, I only finished the fish and the soup.


The soup was not so nice. I am wondering why a lot of people queue. Or Am I expecting too much?

Mc.D breakfast @ Compasspoint

We just had an appointment with our agent at Mc.D @ Compasspoint. I really hate Mc.D, but then the appointment was at Mc.D.

We ordered big breakfast. When I opened the foam cover...I was so surprise. The BIG breakfast was not so BIG for me. Thinking the word "BIG"...We only ordered one meal, I thought it would gonna be enough for 2 persons.



There were only 4 things on the tray...1 hash brown, 1 bread, 1 meat, 1 scramble egg.
First is the bread, tasted like cheap bread mix with rubber. The egg, I think Niko's egg is better than this egg and they served it cold. The meat, really the tastiest meat ever...but I was thinking why they put a lot of ingredient mixed with the meat till you can not taste the original meat flavor. I suspect this kind of meat is not fresh, they mixed with a lot of ingredients to get rid of the smell. The hash brown was the only thing I was able to appreciate. I know it's not healthy, but that was the best thing compare to 3 other things on the tray.

Froggy Fan

Recently my office has been very hot. Some designers have bought USB fan. My neighbor has a pink piggy fan, others have normal looked fan.

Today I found a cheap nice USB fan. It costs $8.90.

Team dinner at First Thai ,Purvis Street, Bugis

One of our colleagues decided to quit working with 1 week notice. He was in my team. So we planned to have a farewell dinner with him on his last day.

Surprisingly he didn't show up on his last day. He sent email to some of colleagues, said that he was too sad to come and say good bye to us.

Eventually we still went to dinner without him, so the occasion was team dinner, not farewell party.

We went to First Thai at Purvis Street, just opposite Chin Chin eating house. We ordered too much for 4 girls. And our senior treated us.

The manggo salad was good. The chicken hot plate was not so good. The fish was not good, next time we should order other sauce but BBQ.





We had our stomach rest just for a while and continued with dessert. I ordered aloe vera with lime.

Skin treatment

Lately, my face skin is very very bad. A lot of pimples blooming around my chin. Those make my face looks dirty. I suspect it's because i use clinique moisturizer when my clarins creme was finished.

So i try to fix this problem with these two product. I bought after my mandarin class. Hope all the marks will be gone after few weeks.

Western Food@Tiongbahru Market

I keep thinking about this western food stall I used to eat when I was staying in Tiongbahru.

So last saturday, I went there to have my lunch. I ordered Mix Grill for $8.50. It's expensive for hawker center price, but it's nice. :)

Moldy cake at Lavender Bakery

Everyday I bought one piece of bread at this stall, the bread shop behind Lavender MRT, just beside Jalan Besar Community Center.

I added 1 cake (roll) because one bread sometimes not enough.

When I reached office, filled my cup with water. I sat and opened my plastic bag.
I opened the cake first. I saw black patches on my pandan roll. &*$^(&^&$(*)(@!!
Lucky, It's not so expensive, but I still feel not happy. How if I didn't see it and ate the moldy pandan roll. I could have stomachache.

All my friend including my husband said I should go back to their shop and show the pandan roll to them. But I didn't do it. Because I knew I won't get anything from them.

So may be next time, I will only buy bread, not the cake.

FISH SOUP @ ION FOOD HALL, Orchard

I met my Indonesian friend at ION, Orchard. I like fish soup very much, then I decided to buy at fish soup stall at Ion food hall orchard. I thought It had to be good because it's at ION.

I ordered fish soup with beehoon and milk for $5.50.

But after I sat and tasted it. Ow no...It was the worst fish soup i have ever eaten. Even if I compare it with the coffeeshop fish soup near my office.

Finally I did not finish it. Normally I drink fish soup till the last sip.

My housemate's expensive hobby is collecting model.
Like this one below is very costly. That is IRONMAN special edition.


He has other version also...^&$*$^(&@(^&$)(@*...cost few hundred $ each.

My MICA project @NLB

I worked with 2 other graphic designer for the content development. I was the one who proposed the structure.

The purpose of this exhibition is to educate the citizen about threads, public health, and water. I feel that Singapore government has a much better way to educate their own citizen. I feel that every government project that I have done is very interesting. Indonesian government should learn more to do it.
