XiaoMi RedMi Note10 Pro

My current phone started having problem since 2020 around September when I was working at home at one evening. It suddenly turned green. Then there are many black lines on the screen like dead cell in LED. But certain screen contrast, it is ok. I thought I could still use it by setting it on certain screen contrast which doesn't have this problem.

Recently I have battery problem. I went out of the house at 10am with 100% battery. Then at 12 noon, it showed 60%.  Reached home at 2pm with 40% battery. This is very bad. Incase of emergency I won't be able to use my phone.

I planned to change to Samsung Note 20 Ultra. However in the middle of this economic recession, we have to really consider spending on unimportant things. Also, I quite fed up with Samsung battery. I own my Mimax for 5 years, it doesn't have this problem. Even if it does now, definitely not in 2nd year.

Initially I planned to buy just the Redmi Note 10 version. It's a bit worrying that the phone cannot handle heavy task. The Note 10 version is very affordable, around $250. But after comparing the specification, I think adding $130 more for better performance is not alot.

I went to Burlington Square, there is a phone shop called Mobile Hardware which posted in carousell and their price is not bad, not the cheapest but at least it's a trustworthy shop. They have glacier blue which I think much better than the orange one.

I like the clone feature on the camera. I tried on Marco and I had him with his 2 clones. I wish I could clone him.

So far when I tried the macro lense, the picture is a bit blur. It seems better when I use their normal camera and zoom in manually.

I have tried their videos as well, it seems ok as well. Resolution wise, it's similar to Note9. However I have not transfered to computer and edited them yet.

I am used to Samsung interface. I also have been using Samsung Note to take down many things. Lesson learnt here is don't use apps which only come with phone brand. Use independent apps is better because any phone brand will be able to hold it.
