I always like Paul. It's affordable compared to Antoinette or Lady M. I ordered my favorite strawberry tart.

Tanuki Raw, Beef Chunk with Wasabi Sauce, Orchard Central

This dish is not bad but the beef chunks are more difficult to eat because they are thick and chewy.
The sauce has balance of sweet sour and wasabi taste. The daikon is kind of soften it. I love the mushroom.

May for for comfort food, I still go with the yakiniku beef, their classic.

How to Get Over Rejection

Recently I got rejected because of something I can't change. Rejection over something you can change, e.g body size, knowledge, hair style, etc, is still ok because you can do something to change it and make yourself to be a better version of you. However, matters like race, status, caste, gender, etc, we can't do anything about it because it's permanent or we were born with it.

I realised not everything will go according to what I want or plan it to be. Somehow I don't give a fuck what people say about me. But somehow if it matters to me, I will get affected.

I would think just not fated. Life still go on. As a person, I partially feel grateful on what I have in my life. Some people may want to swap place to be in my shoes. Well, I am happy to be me. In my life, the purpose of life is to be happy. I should live a happy life because I only live once.

Every occasion is a learning point. So many things to learn and keep improving ourselves to be a better. If you never take note learning points from every occasion in life, you learn nothing, not improving.

I get affected a while, but I will be ok again after few days.

Xin Yuan Ji Fish Steam Boat

I had craving for fish steam boat. I went with SL to Xin Yuan Ji, Bugis. SL ordered red grouper fish. It turns to be v nice. The texture of the meat is really good and the soup is the deal breaker.

Ippudo, MBS

I had a set up at MBS. I already suspected that my lunch was going to be expensive. I tried to find what to eat at the food court. I couldn't find what I wanted to eat with a fair price.

I ended up went to Ippudo. This branch charges more expensive than Mandarin Gallery one.

After a painful damage of $26 to my pocket, I think nothing special about Ippudo. I still like Menya Musashi or Keisuke.

Re Re Mala Xiang Guo, China Town

My expectation was to eat Mala Xiang Guo the stir fried version, but it turned up that my dinner mate,SL ordered soup version....Sigh. Sad.
