Garden by The Bay, 26th Dec 2015

We went to Garden by The Bay as my mother in law was here. We went out around 4.30pm and reached there when the sun was still hot. There were a lot of people, but luckily Marco was very cooperative.



We separated for an hour because of so many people.

We went to Keisuke at Suntec city for dinner. Marco got a free small bowl of ramen. I ordered a miso tonkotsu ramen.

PKDK Meeting on 20th Dec 2015

It has been a long time since I met them. Linda is in town, so it's a good chance to meet up before Xmas.

Marco 22 Months

I really found Marco is very cute when he talks. This evening he said "Kiku eat seaweed. Kiku eat carrot". He named himself Kiku. He can not pronounce Marco. Marco becomes Kiku. So cute.

He also said "Kiku see. Kiku want" "Mami go work".

When I slept with him few days ago, I sang a duck duck song. The mother duck whose the baby duck never come back. Then mother duck is sad because baby ducks are gone. He said "Mummy duck sad. Mummy duck cry. Baby duck gone." Wow...I found him so cute. He actually make effort to pronounce the word in broken sentences.

Seriously I never feel I love a person like I love him. I think this is called mother love. I love him till I close my eyes.

Menichi Ramen, NEX

I had this alone because I had my craving on salty creamy rich ramen. I was very disappointed as it didn't satisfy my craving.

I chose the black garlic tonkotsu broth. It was salty and the soup was no depth. I was expecting something like ramen restaurant kind of standard. The egg given was just half. Funny. I don't think the shop will close door if they give every bowl an egg instead of half egg. I ended up paying $20.04 for a bowl of ramen with 2 super thin slices of pork, half egg, and a glass of hot ocha. What a disappointment.

Marco Loves Soup

Another thing about my son is he loves soup in side his menu. He always says "soup soup". My maid said if she didn't cook soup for Marco, Marco will keep looking at the kitchen and says "Soup soup".



He really likes soup, even when we went out to have meal at the restaurant, he asked for soup soup. He said it with the duck duck mouth.

Marco 21th Month

Marco can form a sentence already by saying key words. Like "Mummy sit down chair","Cit cit cook go, or "Cit cit clean floor". I was so happy hearing the progress of this verbal skill. Now I need to more often say Indonesian. I think he knew some Indonesian word like kueh,duduk, tunggu, naik. And I am adding more words to him.

He gradually adding his vocabulary on animal. He knews hedgehog, octopus, and shark already. Many more to add.



As a mother, I want my son to be happy and grow in the happy family. But it takes both hands to clap.

He is also clever as he hugs people which he think he wants something from that person. Like my mom. Marco hugged her when he wanted to get wallet or my mom's snack. He does to me also. Anyway, I love him so much.

I really feel needed when I make him sleep and he asks me to hug him. I also feel really happy and needed when he call mummy mummy and run towards me.

Marco now becomes more difficult to handle. If he wants something, we say no. He will start crying. Sometimes It is a pretend one. So I have to divert his focus to something else.

Another thing funny about him is the car car face. He will change his face become angry with a scary eyes.
