Marco's 1st Bday

Too bad Marco could not celebrate his first birthday because we are still in the mourning period.



I gave him a pair of leather shoes to be his first shoes. Niko gave him Mega block, lego looks a like.

Niko brought him to Botanical Garden in the morning and he had his nap there. So cute.


After that Niko went office and Marco and Thuzar were in Hokey Pokey. Ended at nearly 7. They picked me up at office and we went home to eat dinner and cake.

My 33rd Birthday

This year celebration is rather simple compared to the previous years. I took leave on 26th Feb. I went to Bugis Junc waiting for Niko there and we planned to eat at Hog's Breath at Chjmes for dinner. I was waiting at Royal Gong Cha at Bugis Plus. The price is much more expensive than the normal Gong Cha as we can sit there as long as we like. Compared to Starbucks or other beverage cafe, this one is considered cheaper. So I enjoyed my signature milk green tea there for nearly one hour.

I took MRT to raffles city to meet Niko there. We crossed the road to Chjmes. Infact, it was closed down. Then we walked back to Bugis. It was a quality time as we never walked and holding hands for a long time.

We ended up eating Poulet as I suggested. We ordered the half signature chicken, braised oxtail, and ratatouille. Niko still wanted to have dessert after that...what else...black ball for sure. We went home and dropped by to Compasspoint to pick up Niko's Pro Evolution Soccer.

Night time around 11.30 pm when Marco woke up, 3 of us took picture together.

Ayam Buah Kluak, 5 Little Monkeys

We had been so skeptical about the canteen on level 11 Pico building. But this time round, i changed my mind. I think 5 little monkeys has done it differently.

It is a concept cafe with a reasonable price for small income earner like me.

My favorite dish is asam pedas fish. This time I tried ayam buah kluak. They are labeled $5.80. The plain rice is labeled $1. So total every visit, I paid $6.80. The fish in a portion is 3 big pieces. The chicken is 1 big piece and 1 small piece.

After a friend asked me about Panerai watch, I started my research about this brand. One of my acquaintance has told me that this brand could be suitable for me.

The Imitation Game

I watched this movie yesterday as Niko was keen to see it. The movie was about Alan Turing the pioneer who found Artificial Intelligent, Computer. The movie has no action, it is biography of Alan Turing. Interesting but a bit flat.

Overall the story was a knowledge gaining for me as I didn't know who Alan Turing was previously.

Benedict Cumberbatch is a perfect cast for Alan Turing even though in reality they look different physically.

Val D'Oca Moscato Dolce (Italy)

This is my first blog about wine. I like sweet wine.

I bought this today at Giant because it was on sale. From $28 to $17.80. Then another reason is I saw a word "DOLCE" means sweet in Italian. I decided to buy it and give this a try.



Well...to be honest I don't like the smell of this wine. It smells like some petroleum. I can taste the sweetness but some how I can not taste other flowers infused in it. It is just plainly a sweet wine to me.

Judging from its price, it is not bad. May be I should come back and buy it again while it is still in promotion. Its rating in vivino is not bad. 4.1 out of 5.
