Universal Design

Universal Design is the design of products and environment to be usable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation or specialised design.

User groups needs to be covered in the community :

- expectant mothers
- elderlies
- wheelchair users
- physically injured persons
- sightless persons
- hearing impaired persons

- Ramps
- Entrances
- Seating facilities
- Tactile indicators
- Escalators
- Pedestrian crossing
- Lifts & Lift cars
- Staircases
- Signage
- Toilet
- Washrooms
- Foodcourts and cafes
- Retails
- Nursery rooms
