Prawn Noodle @ Serangoon Road

We purposely went out afternoon, because I really want to eat hokkian prawn noodle. But it was closed, It would be opened on 4pm. So we decided to eat next door.

It's a new eating house. I ordered prawn noodle. Not bad.

Niko ordered from the next stall, Thai food. His one also very good. The meat was really soft and the taste was nice. He still was not full when he finished 1 plate. Then he got free 1 bowl of rice.

Char Kwetiaw @ Expo, food court

This food court had been revamped since few months ago. They said they changed the some of tenants to better food seller.

My friends tried the bakuteh, they said nice. I tried the char kwetiaw (white one), it's nice, tasty. But I tried the black one, I don't feel like it.

If you happened bump in to expo, and you willing to pay cheap for food, I suggest don't take risk buying not nice food from other stall. Better you buy this char kwetiaw. People always queue infront of this stall. 1 plate $3.80

This game I started few weeks ago.
And my husband started playing this also since the day I asked him to help playing the game (under my account) because I had ready food needed to be served. My computer in office very slow, hardly play this flash game.

And now, He's addicted...OMG!

Stress Alien & rubber goose

My colleague bought silicon alien that has big head. If you squeeze the head, the eyes will pop out and you can see there's red liquid (fake blood) with white worms inside the head through the eyes.

In our studio, we also have rubber goose. The goose is like normal goose, big body but tiny head. It's the opposite of that silicon alien.

I created an incident on her table....when she wasn't around. :D

AFA 2009 Tickets

As I remember, AFA ticket 2008 was only $5. This year I heard they are selling for $15.
And $25 for 2 days.

I got free tickets for this year. :D

Diary of a Whimpy Kid

I started to read this book since last sunday. I read this book very fast, I think because there are a lot of drawing inside. It's funny and relaxing.

I'll buy the next series this weekend. :D

Listy Bday Present

We bought this watch on Saturday. I went with my colleague. We went Ion. We didn't have time to buy it on weekdays.

The watch comes with rose gold. First time see not so attractive, that's why we tried the silver one first. But when I tried the gold one, it's much more nicer than the silver one. So we decided, gold one. :D

Xin Wang Hongkong cafe @ ION, Orchard

We decided last minute to have early dinner before our mandarin course.

I ordered Cheese bake rice with fish fillet. He ordered Noodle soup.

His food looked like instant noodle. And mine is ok. Not as nice as Kim Gary's one or Swensen's one.

But the siewmay was quite nice.

I think this one is fun and nice. They also have one pair acts as fairies, distributing flower-shape pamphlet.

Cold day

Today, 16th November 2009, is a cold day. I have headache and all my finger were very cold at office.

I went off with my colleague to the main road bus stop. When crossing the road, I felt my back and neck were very cold. And the wind blew very cold. The water on the road also splashed on my face and clothes when cars speed infront of me, even I stood further from the traffic lights.

I realized that I left my pouch on my desk after I could not found it in my bag. I needed it to tap my ez-link card.

So, I went back to office to take my pouch, because my apt card was in there. I walked alone and felt very cold on my back and neck. Lucky I brought my jacket today. I think I will be sick soon, I feel it since I woke up this morning.

I was wondering whether it will be so easier and more comfortable if I'm driving. Even I need to go back to take my thing, but my back and neck still not so cold.

They have a good idea, the xmas tree is from hologram paper, cut vertically. And put the xmas light also. It'll be cheaper compare if it's filled with leaves and balls.

Century eating house @ kopishop

I ate this Hongkong noodle as my lunch. I also ordered the mince meat pork egg. It was too oily. And every time I ate food from this stall, I always feel thirsty after. Too many MSG.

Quiznos @ orchard Central

I recently love to eat subway even after eating it, I feel not satisfied.

One of my colleague gave me the pamphlet of something like subway, but it's more high level.

We went to this place to try this new food.

What I like about this :
1. the white bread comes with cheese.
2. the meat was a lot.
3. the wheat bread was nice. (better take white bread next time)
4. The pickle was served in one corner. You can take as much as you like but don't waste food.

What I don't like :
1. Price was too expensive
2. the seats configurations are only for small groups. (max.4)

Green Tea KitKat

After 1 week, finally I have chance to eat this kitkat. I did it after my jogging.:P
I think the run became useless after I ate this chocolate.

This type is the highest calories. 100kkal. Compare to the banana one and the ubi one.
It's also the sweetest among others.

Coin Purse from my mom

I got this coin purse from my mom. I like the pink with beads.

Compact Powder

I've tried few brands for compact powder.

First one I bought when I was high school. I thought clinique was a good brand because it very neutral. I was totally wrong. It's very extreme and made my face produce extra oil after applying the powder.

Second one, I just bought normal compact powder, Loreal. It didn't give bad reaction for my face. The particle of the powder is too big.

I need the soft one so the powder won't be so thick on my face.
I found one, it's very soft. And when you apply it, it's thin, and very light. Hopefully this one is the one I need.

Chicken Pie @ Polar

My hubby loves this. But I feel it's nothing special about the taste. I like polar swiss roll. I think their one is better than breadtalk one. The polar one is so soft. Just nice for tea break or breakfast.

Prata Stall @Lavender MRT

I think it's been long time ago since we had our breakfast together at Tiongbahru. This morning was the 1st time we have it again at Lavender.

We walked to next block, there's a coffeshop selling nasi lemak, porridge, prata, and bak cor mee.

The prata was nice, I never ate prata since I moved house to tiongbahru and move job to Kingsmen. Because at Tiongbahru there's no indian food stall. and at Kingsmen there's no prata seller.

The coffeshop was visited mostly by eldery (60+). We were the youngest there.

I'll try the porridge next time.

Beef Noodle Stall @ Bugis food junction

I post this because to remind me not to eat at this stall next time.

I thought it will be nice, but after I tried my first bite, it's horrible. I couldn't eat that one. Then my husband who has generous heart, let his food was eaten by me. And my food was eaten by him. :D Thank you very much.

Prawn Noodle from Hubby's boss

It was crazy, his boss called at 11.30pm and asked him to go down to pick up prawn noodle.

Actually it was very nice of him, to purposely went to drop the food for us.

We had it for next day breakfast. I really really like it. It's nicer than the tiongbahru market one. :)

Since that time, I'm craving for hokian prawn noodle.

ASTROBOY - 2009

I suddenly felt like want to go movie with my husband. I really want to watch this is it, but I don't know why, I never thought about this is it. I told my husband to book tickets for ASTRO.

Overall the movie was good. I almost cried when no body wanted ASTRO, including the father. T-T

Dim Sum @Swee Choon, Jl.Besar

I like to eat here. It's consider cheaper than the china town one, and also more delicious.

The best thing is xiao long bao. The skin is just right, not too thick and not too thin.

The luo puo kao is the best. Crispy out side but inside also good.

I like the egg tart and the lo mai kai also.

Indoor Fountain

I'm thinking want to have indoor fountain later in my house. I am a water element person (even I can not swim ;P) so I think it's a good idea to have it at home. I read (according to fengshui) it will also good to have something moving at home because it will indicate there's something alive at home. It can also be clock (ticking one) and animal (instead of human).

I will think twice to have dog, because nobody will feed it during office hour.

These fountains I saw at Carrefour Suntec city, the grey one is $59.00 and the brown one is $128.00 I like the brown one more but the grey one is also nice and I can put flower inside the pot.

Express Teppanyaki @ Tampines Mall

This was our second gathering for 2009. I think next time we better don't do it at teppanyaki restaurant, because we hardly have a chat. The seats are arranged in straight row.

The taste was quite nice. I thought it's gonna be just meat, so I almost finished the meat and then the vege came. :( This was my fist teppanyaki.

Why I never like to eat teppanyaki, because I thought the smoke would be very smelly and it would sticked to your clothes and hairs. But this time, they put sucker in front of the chef. It worked strongly till I could not smell anything.

We are treated by yoon, our team leader. Thanks yoon, finally this is my 1st time teppanyaki. :)

Gift from Japan

One of my housemate just came back from Japan.
He gave me the food miniature and kitkat.

I opened the box and got soba with floating chopstick, green tea with floating teapot, and tempura with the basket. Cute.

I haven't opened the kit kat yet, those have unique flavor, yam and banana.

He also brought back some coke and fanta canes. The shape is unique. Those are collectible items.

Down grading face treatment

I tried my best to give my face the better food. In fact, the skin is not even better, getting worst recently. I have pimples around the eyebrows and chin. They left dark marks for few months.

I used Clinique, my skin reaction was it produced extra oil.

I used SKII, 1st month the result was good, the 2nd month became normal again.

I used Clarins, 1st bottle was better, but eventually I was not satisfied with the result.

Now I use Maybelline, Hydra boost, which is much cheaper. This is water based cream, I expect it will be suitable with my skin.

Sedap Corner @ Simpang Bedok

The 1st time I ate at this restaurant, I felt a bit rugi.
But the second time I came here, I felt the pho was so delicious.
They gave big chunk of beef meat which was very tender. :)

Chin Chin eating House @Purvis street, Bugis

I really like to eat chicken rice since my husband introduce me to this eating house. :D
I'm craving chicken rice every lunch time at office. All I can get only chicken rice at ITE.

At chin chin, we order 1/4 chicken with mix vege. Chicken rice and big bowl soup, with drinks. Total is around $17-18.

Great Eastern Women 10Km run

Company sponsored for us to join this run. I did not practice since 1 month ago because I was too busy making a video call with my husband when he was in Vietnam. :P

I have achieved my target for finishing the 10km run in 1 hour and 26 minutes 35 seconds. Next year I'll try to achieve 1hour 10 minutes. Need to practice regularly 3 months before.

This time, I walked for few minutes because my new sport bra made my ribs felt so painful. I think if it's not happened, I could be 10 minutes faster.
