Genting - KL Holiday

We went out from house at 5.50am because it was stated on the receipt that the bus will go on 6.15am.

Reach beach tower, infront of the Konsortium Office, they said the bus was broke down, and they still looked for replacement bus. There was one uncle, he must be gambler, scolded the staff there because of the broken down bus. He said in mandarin he could sue them because they were not ontime and they should provide 2 buses at least incase of broken down. We waited there until 7.15am, then the replacement bus came.

There were indonesian fellows in the bus. 1 mummy, 2 kids, 1 maid, 1 grandma. They were very troublesome, because every stop we waited for them, they were somewhere else outside when the bus wanted to go off. And some gambler uncle were complaining because of these situations. And aunty behind me said in mandarin, she was thinking that they are indonesian, because they are chinese but malay speaking.

Finally we reached genting at 1.30pm. It was very cold there. And this was the BEST thing started to happen!!! I left my jacket on the mattress at home, because Niko asked me to go ATM first. :(

For 2 days I was wearing thin shirt. And he brought AX sweater that I bought for him without asking whether I wanted to borrow. BEST husband ever!!!

BEST time in casino...LOST!!! At least I got 2 cups of hot Milo.

First time I ate Marry Brown, Malaysia's KFC. It's nicer that KFC. :)

The next morning, We had our breakfast at hotel...Here come again the best thing....I really don't like this person at home...and I met him here...BEST!!!

I could cover a bit of my lost yesterday night by playing again after breakfast.

We went off Genting to KL by bus. The ticket was very cheap, only RM 6.60/person.

In fact, KL is not what I'd been thinking. I supposed to be more futuristic or more "city" look rather than Jakarta. It is old looked. Not so many high building.

And my first impression of KL was not good because it is very difficult to find taxi (that runs by meter) there. I think, Big city has to provide good transportation system. It is very important. Finally we got 1 taxi that ran by meter. And most of the taxis there are very2 smelly inside, old cars, etc etc....I have too many complains.

I am an auto mania, so my judgement related to cars. The cars those are on the road really influence how the city looks like. Most of the cars are made from Proton, their local car manufacturer. They are also old car. Not nice to see, but people are still using them. And there is another brand also, Kancil.

The better thing about KL is the road is cleaner than Jakarta. It only has traffic jam in certain parts.

After checking in our inn, we wated to go to City Square. Here the BEST thing came again. It horribly difficult to find taxi (F&*^$&%@^%*&^@*K). It turned off my mood. Of course on the next day, It happened again when we wanted to go to our picked up bus location (FU^&$*^(@&%*^&%*^&K!!!). I will not go KL again if there is nothing really really really important! It is definitely not a destination of my holiday.

Saturday night, we met Niko's friend. Burger, William, and Pin Nyuk. She was driving Kancil. First time to be in Kancil. We ate at Mama's Kitchen. They ordered kangkung belacan, deep fried sotong, hotplate tofu, pork ribs, and lou shu fen.

After dinner, we went to 1 cafee. They ordered volcano bomb something. It's a name of the dessert. It's an icecream covered with banana and cream. They put liquor and burned it.

Next BEST thing : sengek traffic light that is really dangerous for road user.

Sunday morning, we had dim sum. RM 27 consider cheap compare to Singapore of course.

Nice summit shoes, RM 59.00. Singapore does not have this brand. I have to go Malaysia to buy.

Lunch cah kwetiaw near our hotel in KL.
