Fourth Day at Jakarta, 20th September 2014

I slept over at Jessy's house. We fell asleep on 2.30am and woke up at 7.00 am. She wanted to see the location of Paramount Land. Finally we went to the marketing office to see the show unit. They said the unit had sold out. I also wanted to get the unit if they still had.

Then we had lunch at Mall Alam Sutra. I visited 6 degree of coffee, own by Menonk. She wasn't there. So we decided to eat at PHO24 just few unit beside it.

The special pho was so terrible until I couldn't even finish half of my bowl. There was no basil leaves. We ate with the corriander leaves. The bean sprout got the rotten spots. Totally can not make it. The worst food I had ever eaten during my trip.


Jessy needed to send me home. The journey came back to city center was a bit tough. It was jam all the way from Puri to my house.

Finally I told her not to send me to airport even she wanted to. I just felt terrible if she needs to go through the jam to airport and back.

Overall the 4 days trip brought back memories I had. I really miss those moments. I should go back more often.

Third Day at Jakarta, 19 September 2014

The plan was I would be picked up around 10.30am by Jessy. Infact, she got lost and she reached my house around 12pm. I decided to miss the dimsum and at Bakmi GM at Mall Taman Anggrek. It was like heaven. :)


We continued make ourselves fatter by having Sumoboo.


Then we went back to Jessy's house. It was still the same but just no more dogs.

We continued to go Puri Indah Mall to eat Korean Food, Chung Gi Wa. We meet Enny Diana, our primary school buddy.


After dinner, we continued to a cafe named Journal. I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes there. I ordered Bir Bintang Radler for Rp.45.000,-. It tasted like bir with lime, quite close with Sprite.

Second Day at Jakarta, 18 September 2014

I went to glodok to settle my mother safe deposit box at BCA. I have not signed the letter for beneficiary. So when my IC was not done yet, everything was also not settled. Then since we were there, I bought crackers and snacks.

After that, we were heading to mangga dua. There were a lot of cute baby clothes and consider cheap also. I only bought small bag for Marco.


Then we went home and I tidy my room while waiting for Jessika to pick me up for dinner. Our dinner was attended by Jessika, Rexana, and Hellena.


Actually in the afternoon while waiting the dinner time, I tidied up my old things. Look what I have found.



This day I also bought a 32 inch TV to be used at home. Replacing the thick old model TV. Rp.2.799.000,-

First Day at Jakarta , 17 September 2014

I took the first flight to Jakarta and reached Soekarno-Hatta airport on 9.15am. I feel there is improvement in terms of facilities and the way they manage the airport. The new things are free wi-fi and taxi queue is easier to find. I imagine my self as foreigner, I think now when I touched down is easier to find and direct my self to find taxi.

My mother picked me up with our distant relative. The journey to our home took about more than an hour. After reaching home, we straight away went to kelurahan for my IC renewal. We went there by becak driven by Toha.

The officer asked me what i had been doing because my IC had been expired for 2 years. I said I was at home and forgot. Then I am also registered that I am still single and not working. Such unlucky that Pak lurah was in the meeting at Puncak. He may come back on Friday. @#&*$#*&^&$@ So my driving license renewal would be delayed also.

After the stupid kelurahan business, we headed to glodok to exchange money at Garuda Valas Chandra building. The rate that day was good, Rp9.440,- Compared to the one at Changi Airport, it was only Rp8.600,- After that, it was lunch time. I decided to eat at Chandra food court to reminisence my high school days. Of course, i ordered Lay Lay's nasi campur.



Then we went to Gajah Mada to buy my Bolt. I felt like I was disconnected and lost. So I bought my huawei bolt for Rp.349.000,-. I felt really relieved after I got the internet connection.

Evening time, I went out to have dinner with mother in law and sister in law at Pondok Laguna. Total bill was Rp.360.000,- for fried gurame, kangkung, grilled squid, tahu kipas, and oxtail soup.
