Husband's Dinner

It has been a long time since Niko cooked dinner for me.
This time, he planned to cook beef steak for him self... T-T
I only took the $2.90 fish fillet from the cold storage's refridge.

Again, my fish fillet was half cooked. Inside was still translucent and a bit hard. So while eating, he had to go to the kitchen and re-cooked my fish fillet.



But I have to admit that his spaghetti was really good.

Nasi Campur Made's Warung, Legian

I thought that Made's warung is nice. But after we tried Babi guling bu OKA. I change my mind.
Nasi Campur at Made's Warung is expensive and so so.
I agree it has a lot of ingredients inside. But talking about the taste, I don't think it can be compared to Babi Guling Bu OKA.

Babi Guling Bu Oka, Ubud

This is the best suckling pig I've ever eaten. This is a must try dish if you visit Bali.
We ate this2 times.
The first was when we went to Ubud Market then we passed by this restaurant.
The second was we purposely went to Ubud only for eating this, and the journey from Kuta to Ubud is around 1,5 hour.

Inception

One word to describe this movie ... Brilliant!!!

The whole story can be multi perceptions.

I think after this movie, niko and I decided that we need to go for every Christopher Nolan's movie.

Android Era

I was not planning to change my lovely Nokia handphone, given by my ex-boyfriend :D
But he wanted to change his HP because he need to return his current HP to ex-company.
So, I followed him to use ANDROID.
He suggested me to take X10 mini. After we couldn't find the demo unit, we finally decided to take Samsung Galaxy Spica instead for $50 with 2 year contract, monthly $26.
I am happy with the phone. His HTC Desire of course is better, but I can not compare because I paid 6 times cheaper than his.

Cheese Stick and Olive Stick from Marks n Spencer

The cheese stick is the best. It smells nice, full butter. :D
The price is not cheap. $4.50 / box. I can get 2 pax of ITE chicken rice with the same price.

Knight and Day

I found this one interesting. It's really entertaining with a bit action and romance.
There's one moment when niko laughed very loud. It was when the airplane was landing behind the trailer truck.

Ronald's and Benny's Bday Dinner

The food for the dinner were miso soup and vietnamnese spring rool for the appetizer.
Then rose mary chicken and cheese baked rice with honey carrot for the entree.
Dukie brownies cake for dessert.

We then played texas hold'em poker. I won coincidentally $10 at the last few round of the game.

Mushroom Noodle @ marine parade market

I had brunch at Marine Parade Market, opposite Parkway Parade Mall.
This was not bad...I like it. They said it's their creation, other stall won't have. I set noodle with seaweed soup is for $3.00

Pixar Exhibition @ Science Center

The date continued to Saturday. We went to science center to see Pixar exhibition.
They show all the sketches from pixar movie and the process of making a movie.
Interesting...
But the 3d movie was canceled due technical problem. They refunded us $3.00/ticket.

Emi Fujita @ Esplanade

It was a date arranged by my husband... :D
This was the 1st time I watched live music performance in concert hall.

New curtain and moodlight

Sofa...finally

After more than a month shifting to our new house, we have been sitting on the floor ever since. Our pain will be ended on this saturday. This sofa will be delivered to our house.
We bought it on Friday, at Mondi (furniture mall).

Passion Fruit @ Sg

I kept eating 12-20 passion fruits a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) when I was in clubmed, Bintan. My colleague said Singapore one is much better.
Then when we came back from Bintan, the next day, he bought me a package of passion fruits.
It's yellow color inside. The taste was strong but it's not sweet.
I still prefer Indonesian passion fruit. It's good for your digestion and constipation.

Aglio Olio @ SPIZE, Simpang Bedok

I compare these 2 Aglio Olio. I think the mushroom one is much better. It's just that you have to pay $9.80 for the mushroom, and add $3 only for getting the seafood one.
It's served best with chili padi...yummy

Pasta Fever

Niko had pasta fever recently. And also it's to welcome our tenant.
I feel the sausage version is better than the shrimp version.
He cooked with appetizer. Honey chicken stock carrot and miso enoki.
The carrot was really nice.

2 Weeks after moving in

We still have not bought our sofa :D But at least my dining table was there since last week.

The floor really looks different after polishing, it's very gloosy, and it affects the entire feel of the house.

Chicken Rice @ Hougang blok 703

I've been staying at Hougang blok 701 for 2 months, I didn't realize there's a nice chicken rice stall near by. T-T
I knew it less than 3 weeks before we move out.
The roasted pork is really nice. The fat is not so thick and the top and bottom part is salty and crispy.
